8th March - Production Meeting

Today we decided that it would be sensible for us to have a production meeting to see where we are all at and talk to others about what we should do next. This meeting involved the liaison, the quality control team and the three leaders from each group.

We started our meeting by finding out what liaison had been working on and what he is intending to do next to move the project along. He has been contacting Julian Mc Dougall and Jenny Graham to find out what content for the exams needs to be covered within the newspaper, the exam info and mark scheme.

Alex then asked myself and the other two group leaders to talk to our groups about what article ideas that they have, what they may write about and what title it may have. He wanted to make a list of all of the articles that we are likely to put into the newspaper. Below is a list of my groups article ideas;

James - Wikipedia "Has wikipedia helped researching online?"

Alie - Twitter "Twitter"

Philippa - Facebook "Has facebook ruined students social lives?"

Finally, we then went on to talk about possible people that may want an advertisement within our newspaper and would be willing to help fund this production.
