I started off our meeting by explaining to James what the project is, what we have done so far regarding roles and gr
oup and also what we pla
n to do throughout the project. This was needed as he wasn't present for the beginning of the project and he needed to be informed. I also wanted to get him up to date with his blog and tell him what he needs to have blogged so far to catch up with the rest of us.
I then took a note of who was here, all member of our group apart from Joe, who wasn't in today.
Once the basics were covered and everyone was up to date, I then decided to give each of us tasks to complete this session and also something that they can be getting on with tomorrow and which needs to be ready for Thursday. We found a piece of paper and decided to make a spider diagram of questions that we thought would be useful to ask other students, to find out what they would want in a newspaper like this. The plan is that Pete
is going to a different school of Friday and he is willing to take a questionnaire for the students to fill out so we will need to produce some questions, in a suitable format. Below is an image of the spider diagram that we produced and I also asked our team to produce a good layout for our questionnaire and to fill it with questions, so that should be ready too test on Thursday to see if it is suitable.
Kirk came over to our meeting half way through to ask us to download a proposal form so I need to ask my group to download this on the Mac's at college and at home. However, the link did not work and we were not able to complete that task today.
